Hope you can join me for this art party at the Tank on March 19 in NY. This is the second edition of a zine my friend and I put together- made up of personal and experimental comics by people we know in the art and entertainment world. At 7pm there’s a variety show featuring amusing stars of the Lower East Side performance scene – Jennifer Blowdryer, Jessica Delfino, Juggernut, The Fools, Moonshine
Details and directions: http://www.thetanknyc.org/theater
Cheers,
Sarah

This is a “personal superhero” commissioned by a friend as a gift for her friend, all the superhero details reference things in the recipient’s life.
It’s done! these are the outside and inside covers I did for the new Sweet Potaotes EP, beautifully silkscreened by Ms. Sweet Potatoes herself with her label mate Ola. The record label is: Dandelion Gold
Tina Hilton used an fashion drawing of mine to illustrate her knitting column on craftstylish.com. The model in the illustration is my friend Rae, who happens to be talented at crochet. Although I think in this drawing she was using the tape measure to make an architecture model.
This is the cover of my husband Sam’s book of poems (drawn by me of course). Sam gave a great reading of the book at the Tank space for performing arts in New York.
This is an image that I’m working on for a poster and album cover (the album cover is folded in half to make a CD case so the top part is the outside cover and the bottom part becomes the inside cover). The artist is Sweet Potatoes, aka Jenny Asarnow. She layers her voice over itself to build up dreamy tunes. Hear, here: http://www.myspace.com/jennysongs
